  • COVID-19 Update

Published: 2 April 2020Geo SubSea News

Geo SubSea personnel started working from home the week before the CT Governor announced non-essential businesses should work remotely, end of March. With a heavy workload continuing through this difficult period, staff are doing their part to practice CDC recommendations while staying connected by using online technology.  We want to express our warmest appreciation for all the front line community workers keeping essential needs available and hope that all of our associates and their families are staying safe and healthy. We will get through this and come out stronger on the other side.

  • AWEA Offshore Wind 2019

    Published: 28 October 2019Conferences

Another interesting and well attended conference focused on offshore renewable energy. Happy to see my colleagues and also meet so many new people, all excited for the future of offshore wind. Many companies will provide additional resources going forward that are much needed, and some will breathe new life via technology into a somewhat stagnant and complacent survey industry. Looking forward to all the new challenges.

Geo SubSea participated in the 23rd annual Source to Sea cleanup event hosted by the Connecticut River Conservancy. Thousands of volunteers staged along the length of the river removed trash and invasive plants from its’ banks. Pictured is Liz and Nick with a rusted push mower they pulled from the riverbank at Haddam Meadows State Park. This was a great community event to help the environment.
